Visionary Health Concepts’ President Receives Union Square Award

The Co-founders of The Women's HIV Collaborative of New York received the prestigious Union Square Award on November 19th, 2004.

 

The Union Square Award seeks to encourage grassroots activism as a means of strengthening communities in New York City. Union Square Award winners are visionaries and risk takers who, motivated by a passion for human rights, create projects and build organizations to address the city's most pressing social, political and economic issues. The Co-founders of The Women's HIV Collaborative of New York received the prestigious Union Square Award on November 19th 2004.

 

Founded in 2000, and currently comprised of over 25 organizational members, The Women’s HIV Collaborative of New York (The Collaborative) gives voice “to issues of importance to women who are at risk for HIV and to those who are infected or affected with HIV/AIDS.” For more information or to join or support the Collaborative, please contact them through the web address below.
